Potable Water Pipe System
Description of System
Pipe system for hot and cold potable and non-potable
water, made of PP-RANDOM COPOLYMER (PP-R type 3). The
material is tested both internally and by external test
institutes. The material is hygienic, has a smooth internal
surface and is resistant to impact down to a temperature
of -5°C.
Operating Conditions
PN 10 = 20°C/10 bar
PN 16 = 20°C/16 bar or 60°C/10 bar
PN 20 = 20°C/20 bar or 70°C/10 bar

KELEN LX - Pipes are pre-insulated at the factory with

Joining Method
The fittings are also made of PP-R and are joined to the pipes by polyfusion socket welding. Metal adaptor fittings are made of dezincification resistant brass (MS63). Joints can also be made using the electrofusion welding socket, or by flange or by union.
