WHAT IS "INVERTER"?

All of Panasonic's table lamps install electrical circuits instead of magnetic ballast. These circuits are called INVERTER circuits, because it illuminate the fluorescent lamp by converting general 50Hz alternating current to 55,000Hz high frequency current. Therefore we call Panasonic table lamp INVERTER TABLE LAMP.
